Hanabusa is an elegant Japanese Soufflé pancake restaurant making exquisitely light and fluffy bespoke creations with a variety of delicious toppings, with an elegant clean interior (in contrast to the scruffyish Kensington Market outside) with a wide range of accompanying drinks including the kid’s favourite matcha tea with the friendly bear. Since every souffé is made to order, prepare to be patient and sit back and relax in sweet anticipation…

A revelation. First time trying Japanese pancakes. Possibly the most delicious pancakes I've ever had. Light and fluffy and spongy. A must do in the market if you can get a seat! Que can be long at the weekend.

Love the pancakes here. They were perfectly, light, fluffy and not too sweet. The ambiance is nice as well! Better than Fuwa Fuwa on Bloor IMO.
